The latest issue of New Scientist magazine has an article by Graham Lawton that discusses some our research team's work on social simulation using multi-agent artificial intelligence models. The title of the article is "Predicting the future is now possible with powerful new AI simulations."
For those interested in examples of the models he describes in the article, here are links to some of our recent articles on terror management theory, religious intergroup conflict, and secularization. And here are links to some more theoretical and methodological discussions related to radicalization, philosophy, non-religion, and the ethics of simulation.
It is exciting to see our models receiving so much attention, and I apologize in advance that I am not able to respond directly to all of the emails and questions that we have been receiving lately. I hope these links are helpful.
